NeoCon 2008 Showroom
DIRTT Chicago Showroom 2008
Using ICE™ software, designers can create dramatic angles up to 15 degrees in DIRTT's center mount wall and still stay well within the product's rules.
We're also getting a little showy with a TV and a waterfall embedded in movable walls. In a more functional vein, DIRTT recently developed beautiful frame-less glass doors – both pivot and sliding barn-door versions. The sliding doors have slowdown mechanisms and floor alignment for smooth, quiet operation.
So, you might wonder, "What happened to the perfectly great 2007 showroom?" It has gone onto another career as Walls in the soon-to-be-built Children's Museum in Greenville, SC.
Because, even though we've taken the whole idea of movable walls to an entirely new level, we still stick to our knitting and simply move when change is needed.
